LinkUUp Terms of Use
Version: 15 August 2026. LinkUUp connects people at places. By registering, you accept these rules.
1. Account and control
Use your own accurate account and protect your credentials. You must be at least 16 years old or use LinkUUp with consent from your legal guardian. You control profile fields, images, visit history and visibility in settings. Location permission is voluntary; without it, location-based features are limited.
2. Fair and safe conduct
Illegal, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, sexualised, deceptive or spam content is prohibited, as are unauthorised advertising, doxxing, stalking, publication of other people's data or images without permission, and bypassing security or location checks. LinkUUp is not an emergency service: call emergency services in a dangerous situation.
3. Your content
You remain responsible for your content and confirm that you have the necessary rights. You grant LinkUUp only the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to technically store, display and transmit it for the visibility you select. This ends when content or an account is deleted, subject to technical backups, legal duties and the defence of legal claims.
4. Places, chats and moderation
Place data, availability and place content are guidance, not guarantees. LinkUUp does not act on behalf of displayed places. Content may be removed, features restricted or accounts blocked in case of violations, security risks or justified complaints. Reports: info@linkuup.de.
5. Liability
LinkUUp has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory. Otherwise, for a slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable typical damage. Continuous error-free availability, accuracy of third-party content and a particular meeting are not guaranteed.
6. Changes
These terms may be adjusted for future use where objectively necessary. Material changes will be announced in the app in advance. Privacy details are set out in the privacy notice.
